Original Krag Experimental Handguard. Sight opening measures 2-11/16” x 3/4” (Is not cut for any of the standard Krag Model rear sights. The smooth sloped groove cut at the base measures about 1” the overall length of the handguard is 9-9/16” The guard is cut to butt up against the receiver like the M1892 handguard.
