.50-70 Trapdoor Stock

A .50-70 Trapdoor Stock. 48-7/16” Over All Length from tip to heel without butt plate or nose cap.

The stock does appear to have an old repair near the grip and does have a crack that needs to be repaired toward the front of the lock cut out. (See photos). Otherwise it’s in good overall condition cosmetically. The right person could repair this and you’d never see it.

A few band springs, and rod retainers are still attached.

It does still have the “P” stamp on the underside (See photos).

Original wood for these .50-70s is getting hard to find.
