COLLECTOR’S NOTES: The 80th Ordnance Battalion was inactivated after its final deployment in 2009, and its lineage appears to have been absorbed by the 80th Training Command. The battalion was a multi-functional logistics unit that served during WWII and later deployed to Iraq in 2009, at which point it assumed authority from the 259th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.
